An expanded meeting with participation of the frontier guards of Armenia and Turkey has recently been held in the Armenian city of Gyumri.
The statement came from Aykakan zhamanak newspaper with reference to Turkish media.
According to the source, the sides discussed the bilateral works regulated by international law.
Spokesman for the Border Service of the Federal Investigation Board of Russia Sergey Grechin refused to comment on the news or provide any additional information.
He said he does not think that anyone in Gyumri can provide information about such a meeting. Spokesman for the Gyumri mayor’s office Zograp Yeganyan told the newspaper that he does not have information about such a meeting.
