Having thanked the Mayor of Yerevan for keeping the educational and cultural establishments at the focus of attention the director of the school stressed that the program was expected both by the staff and by the pupils and their parents. Taron Margaryan assured that this program will be carried ou and comfortable conditions will be provided in all musical schools of the capital. “In the recent years we have paid more attention to educational and cultural establishments. The problem of heating has already been solved and now we have the possibility to direct the amounts to repairing. This year we have repaired 11 musical and 3 art schools, 12 libraries. This musical school has been overhauled as well: windows and doors have been replaced with new ones, the floor has been renewed. The facade of the building has been repaired and provided with wheelchair access too. Our children already have the opportunity to have their classes in warm, clean and comfortable rooms and I am sure that the number of those who want to attend musical schools will increase. Our programs of improvement of cultural establishments will be continued and next year we are going to complete the process of repairing and start refreshing the furniture and purchasing musical instruments”.
Accompanied by the head of Malatia Sebastia district the Mayor also visited the kindergarten N 92. Presenting Taron Margaryan the details of the work carried out in this pre-schooling establishment the director said that the rooms of the kindergarten had been repaired, the yard area of 1200 sq m had been improved. The kindergarten is also adapted for the children with locomotor disability. Three of the rooms have been provided for such people. Besides, the kindergarten has rooms for rehabilitation therapy. Getting acquainted with the work done the Mayor stressed that having solved the problem of heating the Municipality is now implementing the programs of repairing the kindergartens and purchasing new furniture for them. Taking the opportunity the staff of the kindergarten thanked Taron Margaryan for keeping kindergartens at the focus of attention particularly stressing the fact that making kindergartens free of charge has a social significance.
